# Linux Lite

A distribution aimed at reviving old machines and at people arriving from Windows: an Ubuntu LTS base, a light XFCE desktop and a set of in-house tools with self-explanatory names (Lite Tweaks, Lite Software). Version 8.0 arrived in June 2026 on top of Ubuntu 26.04.
